S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization Training Activity Responsibility
Gain insight into your puppy’s behavior and body language. Establish good social skills and behaviors while building a relationship with your puppy. For puppies 8-21 weeks old.

Levels One & Two
Level One
LEVEL ONE is for dogs 6 months and older. This class is designed to help you better control and understand your dog’s behavior in everyday situations. We will expand on basic commands plus learn some fun new commands. Training is positive-based and relationship-building.
Topics covered in LEVEL ONE:
- Loose leash walking
- Recall/Finish
- Name response
- Sit, Down, Stand
- Stay, with distractions
- Behavior problems
- Work towards AKC Canine Good Citizen certification
Schedule/Cost:
- For dogs 6 months and older
- 6 weekly one-hour sessions: $100
- No previous training necessary.

Level Two
LEVEL TWO expands on our Level One training by adding more distractions and using games to enforce training skills. Some of the games we play include Hot Dog Races, Duck-Duck-Grey Duck, and a “mock” dinner (with real food!) where your dog learns to display good manners in situations involving food! This fun class also covers the skills needed to complete the Canine Good Citizen certification and includes the CGC test on the last night.
